The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a government board - just like CBSE and ICSE - that lets students complete Class 10 and 12 without attending regular school. For athletes, artists, students with health challenges, board-exam repeaters, and serious JEE/NEET aspirants seeking schedule freedom, NIOS is a legitimate and powerful option that most families discover too late.

1. Is NIOS Valid? Absolutely.

NIOS certificates are recognised by CBSE, CISCE, all Indian universities, and government bodies as equivalent to any state or central board. NIOS students can and do:
