Overview
This unit explores the dynamic relationship between human societies and the natural environment. Students will investigate how people depend on, adapt to, and modify their environments, and examine the consequences of these interactions. Through case studies of biomes, natural resources, climate zones, and natural disasters, students will develop a systems perspective on sustainability and their role as environmental stewards.
