Anthropology is scored on the named ethnographic case described specifically and then used analytically — a candidate who writes about tribal communities in general is writing General Studies with anthropological vocabulary. Paper I rewards mechanism: state how a process works before naming its outcome, and use labelled diagrams for evolutionary sequences, kinship notation and genetic ratios, since they are examined content rather than decoration. Paper II is best held as one connected analysis — the geographical coincidence of the mineral, forest and tribal belts, colonial forest reclassification, land alienation, displacement, the title-anchored under-counting of the displaced, and the resulting grievance structure — applied to questions on problems, policy, movements and applied anthropology with adjusted emphasis rather than prepared as separate topics.
