Books & Going to Buy a Book
Part 1 — Books (Poem)
"Come in, come in! / I'm just a book. / Don't look at me / As just a cover."
About the Poem
A BOOK speaks to a child: 'Open me. Read me. Inside me is a WHOLE WORLD.' Through books, you can travel to the moon, sail the ocean, meet kings and queens, and go on adventures — without ever leaving your room. 'Every book is a MAGIC DOOR.'
What the Poem Teaches

- Books are TREASURES — full of knowledge, stories, and imagination
- Every child should discover the joy of reading
Part 2 — Going to Buy a Book
The Story
Two children are given MONEY by their grandfather. They go to a BOOKSHOP. At first, they don't know what to choose — there are SO MANY BOOKS. Big ones. Small ones. Books with pictures. Books about animals. Storybooks. The shopkeeper helps them.
They discover: choosing your OWN book and buying it with your own money is a SPECIAL feeling. They leave the shop HAPPY — holding their new books, already dreaming of the stories inside.
What We Learn

- Libraries and bookshops are wonderful places to explore
- Reading is a HABIT to treasure
